2011 Youth Awareness Concert
The Concert was a great sucess. The entertainers, who donate their time and talents, put on a spectualr show. Much thanks to Owen Black Elk for coordinatimg the lineup and to Nervous Wreck Productions for providing the sound and jamming with the musicians. We presented a group of up and coming young musicians, as well as some groups who are longstanding supporters. New Hip=Hop friends included K-dawg and Slim Mayne, who joined old time friend Mista Futuristic. New Rockers included Maza, Nuclear Decadance, and Brett Hamilton shared the stage with old friends, Mark SIlent Bear, Arrow Space, SpyderZback, Scatter their Own which Scotti Clifford included his children on drum and vocal. Elk Nation provided Drum for all the honor songs with Robert Janis ending the concert with the AIM song. Interviews were done by Richard Iyotte and broasdcasted live on Blogtalk - Rez Radio. A surprise visit by South Dakota Legislator Representive Kevin Killer stipped in to enjoy the music.
